Privacy policy
Last updated
The short version: today, this site collects almost nothing about you. There are no accounts, no forms, and no analytics trackers — and this policy commits to being updated before any of that changes.
Each section opens with a plain-language summary. The summaries help you scan; the full text underneath is what applies.
Who we are
In short: SilentCut runs silentcut.ai; this policy covers this site.
This policy describes how SilentCut (“we”, “us”) handles personal information on silentcut.ai (the “site”). It reflects what the site actually does today — which is very little — rather than a template written for a service that does not exist yet.
What we collect
In short: Directly from you: nothing. There is nothing here to fill in.
The site has no accounts, no sign-up, and no forms, so we collect no personal information from you directly. We also run no analytics and no advertising trackers.
Like every website, the infrastructure serving these pages processes standard technical data — your IP address and browser details — in server logs, to deliver pages and protect against abuse. Those logs are handled by our hosting provider and retained briefly for security and operations, not used to profile you.
What stays in your browser
In short: Your theme choice lives on your device and is never sent to us.
If you switch between light and dark mode, that preference is saved in your browser's local storage. It is not a cookie, it is never transmitted to us, and you can remove it at any time by clearing the browser's site data. We set no cookies today.
Discord and other third parties
In short: Join the Discord and Discord's privacy policy takes over there.
Our community lives on Discord, a service we do not operate. If you join, Discord processes your data under its own privacy policy, and what you post in the server is visible to the community. External links from the site lead to services with their own privacy practices.
When this changes
In short: Product features mean new collection — and a new version of this policy first.
SilentCut is pre-launch. When the product introduces accounts, payments, analytics, or a contact form, this policy will be revised before those features go live: the “Last updated” date above will change, and we will announce the revision in the community.
Your rights
In short: We hold nearly nothing about you, and you can always ask.
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Today the honest answer is “nothing beyond transient server logs” — but the right is yours either way, and the Discord community is currently the fastest way to reach us with such a request.
Children
In short: The site isn't aimed at kids, and we knowingly collect nothing from them.
The site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — children included. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through one of our channels, contact us and we will delete it.
